The need to reducing picking errors and recover spaces for additional operations has prompted the company to reorganize the warehouse space and to automate the storage and retrievals operation in order to create more efficient logistics processes.
THE SOLUTION
SILO2 VLM has helped the Company to organize over 8,000 molds in less than 15 m², saving over 90% of floor space, keeping molds cleaner and 100% easy accessible for fast retrievals. A single operator has reduced the time to retrieve a mold by over 85% also thanks to the side by side access openings. Security and safety have been improved, with a drastic reduction in damages and in the risk of injuries for the operators.
