THE LOGISTICS CHALLENGES
Problems associated with a growth in the volume of stock, the introduction of new product lines, the vast assortment of the different collections and other issues related to the various sales channels used, both indirectly and directly, on a national and international level.
These were the main logistical problems which led Mario DeCecco to review their warehouse at their headquarters in Sambuceto near Chieti, Italy. Their aim was to optimize how space was used and increase overall efficiency.
THE SOLUTION
In order to exploit available space outside the building, a SILO2 Vertical Lift Module was installed externally, with insulated panels to protect and thermally insulate the stored items.
Three 12-metre storage columns, equipped with two side-by-side access openings inside the building ensure safe and efficient storage of the stored goods.
