THE LOGISTICS CHALLENGE
Following the expansion of its product range and the increase of sales volumes, Giuntini needed to maximize the available space in its facility and increase accuracy and efficiency in picking and refilling operations of accessories and light goods.
THE SOLUTION
The 2 SILOPlus VLMs are used to store light items utilized in the manufacturing of clothing process as buttons, zips, accessories, etc., replacing the previous solution based on static racking system. Both of SILO Plus VLMs have 2 side-by-side access openings equipped with IRIDE, the interactive multimedia workstation that allowed to reduce picking errors while increasing productivity.
