THE LOGISTICS CHALLENGE
Being fast to meet the different customers‘ specific requests is a key challenge for this sector. The need to reducing picking errors and recover spaces for additional operations has prompted the company to reorganize the warehouse space and to automate the storage and retrievals operation in order to create more efficient logistics processes.
THE SOLUTION
With the aim of optimizing all available space, reducing operating costs and suitably storing an ever-increasing number of items, 4 SILO2 vertical storage systems were installed, on 2 different levels, with 2 of them being equipped with insulation and air-conditioning systems, to ensure controlled temperature and humidity in the storage environment.
