THE LUXURY EYEWEAR OF LVMH GROUP AIMS HIGH WITH SILO² VLMS

THE LOGISTICS CHALLENGE
In 2017, LMVH, in view of the company's growth prospects, starts the construction of a new factory in Longarone (Italy, BL), for the production of glasses for the various Maison of the Group and decides to digitize and automate the internal workflow of the materials to increase production capacity, while reducing production times and increasing visibility on stock levels, ensuring the high quality standards that have always characterized the Made in Italy eyewear.
THE SOLUTION
The heart of the project of the new production plant in Longarone (Italy,BL) are the SILO2 vertical lift modules more than 9 meters high with 3 storage columns each: every m2 of footprint, they develop a storage capacity of 24 m2.
