SILO Vertical Lift Systems can
be configured in 2 different typologies:
Automatic or Fixed
Automatic Configuration
Automatic Configuration
When dealing with materials of different heights, the management software automatically scans the space in between trays and positions the tray at the most suitable location. In this case each tray contains load units with variable heights.
Fixed Configuration
Fixed Configuration
When dealing with materials of uniform height, the management software stores each tray in a pre-determined location. In this case each tray contains load units with similar heights. This specific configuration enables the exploitation of all the internal space in the best possible way.
On the general market Automatic Configuration is provided as standard, resulting in a 30-35% reduction in the internal capacity of the storage system. ICAM, meanwhile, first considers the requirements of the customer via a consultancy stage and then adapts the design of the storage system to the specific kind of materials to be stored by, whenever possible, proposing the Fixed Configuration, thus providing a greater internal storage capacity for the storage system.
