112 different trays, as standard
In the multi-column SILO2 ISTO TECH, access openings can be placed side by side to favor continuity, speed and efficiency in
storage and retrieval handling operations: while the operator is involved in handling operations in one access opening,
the vertical lift system can proceed with the next mission and bring the required tray to the adjacent access opening,
thereby reducing or even eliminating waiting times.
Access openings can be positioned on the same level, on different levels or opposite each other to offer the greatest possible freedom to configure it according to available space.
Thanks to the availability of different trays 112 for size and the wide range of accessories for internal division (side extensions, removable dividers of various heights, sides and containers) you can handle any kind of items such as pharmaceuticals in sealed packaging, surgical devices and general medical supplies, electro-medical equipment, blood bags, personal protective equipment, medical records, etc.
Trays may vary in width from 653 to 1,953 mm, in depth from 612 to 1,288 mm and in height from 41 to 400 mm thanks to side extensions.
Everything is cleverly controlled with ICONTM, our software which expertly manages the SILO2 VLM.
Integration with the most popular WMS and ERP management software, label printing and bar code readers ensures the fully traceability of the stored items.
Furthermore, the integration of barcode and QR Code readers and IRIDE, the innovate, interactive and multimedia system, will make storage and retrieval of histological samples faster, more accurate and more intuitive thanks to a digital environment, fully integrated with both the archive system and our ICONTM management system via four main features:
Lending a hand in picking operations using colored light beams to identify the section containing the required slides or samples.
Our digital instrument panel provides any relevant handling information projected directly into the operator’s line of sight.
An integrated lighting and warning light system which can flag up hazardous situations (activation of safety light curtains, downtime, etc...).
Buttons positioned on the outside edge of the access opening allow the operator to interact with the information projected onto the Head-up Digital Dashboard” without needing to continually move over to the PC workstation.
