HIGH OPERATIONAL AND COMFORT

The access openings can be internal and / or external and positioned at different heights or on opposing sides of the machine in order to reduce the walking time of the operators and increase productivity.

Both the internal and the external access openings can be fitted with single or dual tray delivery system.

The dual level tray delivery allows to improve the picking and retrieval activities: while the operator stores and retrieves items on the first level, the internal vertical shift system continues working on the next handling operation, bringing it to the second level, therefore significantly reducing waiting times for the warehouse operator.

EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY

• Multi-ray photoelectric light curtains and an automatic vertical shutter allow staff to work safely while handling trays in the access opening


• Emergency push buttons, located on the front of the archive system, enable the system to be stopped immediately at any time


• The integrated air extraction system reduces the high concentration of formaldehyde, protecting staff from exposure due to inhalation


• The automatic fire detection and extinguishing system provides early warning dangerous situations

Everything is cleverly controlled with ICON^TM, our software which expertly manages the SILO^{L ISTO TECH} VLM.

Furthermore, the integration of barcode and QR Code readers and IRIDE, the innovate, interactive and multimedia system, will make storage and retrieval of histological samples faster, more accurate and more intuitive thanks to a digital environment, fully integrated with both the archive system and our ICON^TM management system via four main features:

Lending a hand in picking operations using colored light beams to identify the section containing the required slides or samples.

Our digital instrument panel provides any relevant handling information projected directly into the operator’s line of sight.

An integrated lighting and warning light system which can flag up hazardous situations (activation of safety light curtains, downtime, etc...).

Control

Buttons positioned on the outside edge of the access opening allow the operator to interact with the information projected onto the Head-up Digital Dashboard” without needing to continually move over to the PC workstation.
